Dear Parent/Guardian:

Thanks for all your help with the recent ACS fundraisers.  The Auction netted around $33,000, and the Golf Tournament around $6,900.  Although both numbers are less than last year, it is an amazing amount of money that was raised.  I realize that fundraising is not a favorite activity for families. However, it helps keep ACS tuition as low as possible. We have the lowest Catholic School tuition in the Archdiocese of New Orleans.  Money spent on your children’s education is truly an investment in their future. The AdvancED review team commented on how it was “amazing” the educational opportunities and services that ACS provides considering our size and limited resources.

The students’ favorite fundraiser has started this week.  World’s Finest Chocolate has arrived. Some families are on their second and third box.  THANKS! Just send a note and we will send yours to you. The reason we request a note is to be certain that you are willing to help with this project.  ALL the children want to take home several boxes, but I want to be certain that they have your permission. Thanks for selling.

ACS Beta Club has provided a Blessing Box for citizens to contribute food, baby items, household goods, and hygiene products for the less fortunate.  Beta encourages you to drop off your donated items at ACS or send them with your child. The box is located on West 5th Street so that Beta members can replenish items as necessary.  Special thanks to Dustin Mitchell for helping make this project a reality.  As Beta leads others by example, those who are led to give back to their community will receive a blessing in return.  Thanks for any donations you can send.

Children’s Coronation is Saturday, April 13th.  We need men with strong backs and electric screwdrivers to help us assemble the backdrop on Sunday afternoon at 1:30.  We will meet at the shed behind the church to load everything up, and then we will move to the BHS Auditorium for assembly.  It is not a bad job, but we need a lot of hands to hold everything in place while ramps, etc. are secured. The Sunday after the Coronation, we will need help to take everything down and return it to the shed.  PLEASE come help if you can!

Ms. Pat asks that you return the 2019-20 Billing Information Sheets as soon as possible. If she does not hear from you, she will bill in the manner you have at this time.
