Congratulations to the seventh grade students and Mrs. Ezell for the Ring Mass ceremony yesterday.  I have had the pleasure of being with most of these students for nine years. They are all important to me, and I love them dearly.  We only have 58 more days together. I know they will be memorable.

Thanks to the students and coaches who are participating in basketball and track at this time for their perseverance and grit.  I love to watch the students assume their tougher personalities on the track and court. They are certainly giving it their all. ACS is blessed by the parents who step up and coach our students. Please take time to express your appreciation for all they do.

Friday is the Annunciation Grandparents’ Celebration beginning in the church at 1:30.  A reception in the school cafeteria will follow. Bert Burr will be here to take family portraits.  I am sending home the packet for ordering pictures today. Many families purchase these ahead of time as a remembrance of the occasion. Room Mothers serve as hostesses for this event.  Thanks to them for their hard work in coordinating and serving refreshments. This is a very touching day at our school. Be certain to invite your child’s grandparents to share the experience.

The Little Caesar Pizza Kit Sale ends on Tuesday.  Delivery is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26th.  Make one more push to sell as many items as you can. I am sending you the prize list for students. The teacher with the most units sold per child will receive a day off.  Let’s see whose class will win this special prize for their teacher. Thanks for your help!

Valentine’s Day is February 14th.  Teachers are planning age appropriate activities for the students.  Everyone is encouraged to wear red or pink tops with uniform bottoms and shoes.

If you have not returned your form for returning students, please do so this week.  There is NO money due at this time.
