Annunciation Catholic School will be closed for Thanksgiving holidays from Monday, November 19ththrough Friday, November 23rd.  Classes resume on Monday, November 26th.There will be NO After Care on Friday, November 16th.

Catholic High School applications appeared on-line today. On Monday, seventh grade students received instructions for applying.  Be certain to follow the directions.  Completed forms are due to ACS by Friday. ACS graduates have always been fortunate to be accepted into the high schools of their choice.  Best of luck to each of you during this year’s selection process.

ACS is scheduled for an AdvancED Review on March 27th and 28th.  Part of the process is to survey parents, students, and staff . Last spring all stakeholderscompleted surveys. ACS staff studied those results during the summer, and made some changes that you suggested.  School year 2018-19 brought new families, and it is time for you to let us know how we are doing.  Mr. Derik is setting up the surveys for you to complete again. We will send you the link information soon. We need these to be completed before we return from Thanksgiving break. We appreciate your help with this project.

Every year ACS students participate in providing Christmas gifts for the less fortunate. Many of you like to take care of this during Thanksgiving break.  Ms. Pat just received the list. She will send home tags and letters for you on Thursday. Gifts need to be sent to ACS by Friday, December 7thThanks for sharing and making Christmas brighter for another family.

Christmas shirt orders are due on Thursday.  Shirts will be ordered while school is closed.

Student Council created a “Thankful Board” at school this week.  It is heart-warming to see the things listed by the students as things they are thankful for.  Most revolve around their families and ACS. I am thankful for each of you.  I appreciate your love and support for our school.  I hope that everyone enjoys a healthy and happy Thanksgiving break.
