A great opportunity to assist students interested in joining scholarship programs in USA.

Dear Parents and Students of Grades 10&11,

Please be advised that the application is now open for students who are interested in studying in USA to join the Education USA Competitive College Club (CCC). The CCC is an intensive group advising program that assists top high school students who want to be competitive applicants to U.S. colleges and universities. Students meet year-round and participate in lectures, book clubs, community service activities, cross-cultural exercises and test preparation, all conducted in English. The activities help ensure that students are properly advised as they go through the process of preparing themselves both academically and socially for a U.S. college or university, and work to determine which schools might be a good fit. The club is free. All you will need to cover is your own transportation to the meetings and extra study materials if you decide you want them. Please note that the club is not a scholarship. CCC students are encouraged to apply for scholarships through the universities and will be advised on how to do so successfully. Admission to the CCC club does not guarantee your admission to US universities. This is only an assistance tool, the full responsibility of admission falls on the university the student will be applying to.

Instructions for applying:

1. You can find the application here
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1emmIQO7LydjU1a6imJmnePN7tRaiusJ6
2. Download it and fill in ALL parts of the application.

4. Please have the subject of your email in this format: "CCC Cairo Application - First name Last name - School Grade" (for example "CCC Cairo Application - Ahmed Mohamed - Junior") for us to easily locate your application.
5. If you completed any standardized tests, please attach the score reports in the SAME email as your application.

Warning: Any incomplete, plagiarized, or late applications would be instantly rejected.

You will be contacted for an interview if you're shortlisted only.

Application Deadline: January 23rd, 2020 (Any applications received after this date will be disregarded)

This is a reminder that the registration for the PSAT exam has been extended to                February 5th, 2020. It is highly recommended for grades 8 &9 to take the PSAT exam. The PSAT exam will take place on April 15th, 2020

Key benefits of taking the PSAT are that it--

• Covers the same content areas as SAT and is delivered under the same conditions—providing ideal practice

• Shows students how they would do on SAT, with score scale and score reports that are almost identical

• Provides detailed feedback on exact areas of strength and weakness

• Allows students to automatically generate a personalized study plan for free online SAT preparation.

We will need to know how many of each test you will need by Feb 6th, 2020 to ensure that your test materials arrive on time.

Best Regards,

ACIC Administration

Dear Parents of Grades 8, 9 &10

We have some good news for you—an opportunity that will benefit our students who will be taking the SAT in the future. We are offering the PSAT to our students in April 2020.  The PSAT is a version of the SAT

Key benefits of taking the PSAT are that it--

•Covers the same content areas as SAT and is delivered under the same conditions—providing ideal practice

•Shows students how they would do on SAT, with score scale and score reports that are almost identical

•Provides detailed feedback on exact areas of strength and weakness

•Allows students to automatically generate a personalized study plan for free online SAT preparation.

This year’s Spring date for schools to administer PSAT is April 15th, 2020.  We will need to know how many students are interested to take this exam by January 13th, 2020 to ensure that the test materials arrive on time.

INTI International University & Colleges in Malaysia

It is a great pleasure for us here at ACIC  to be chosen as a mega partner with Global Education Ventures, a representative of the INTI International Universities & Colleges of Malaysia. Yesterday 24/11/2019 they visited grades 11&12 at the school campus. Our students got first-hand information about course options, entry requirements, application process to the universities in Malaysia. Malaysia is an Islamic country that offers very high quality education with affordable prices. Students can join top British universities like Coventry and Hertfordshire Universities and pay one quarter of the tuition fees they pay if they join these universities in the UK.
