Hygiene

Dear Kindergarten parents,

Considering the risk that Coronavirus poses and your concerns, we would like to inform you about the following precautions we take:

Ø  KG Doctor monitors all students daily. She checks their temperature, chest and overall physical condition. If a child exhibits signs of a contagious disease, she/he is immediately separated in the KG clinic and parents are contacted to pick their child up;

Ø  Students wash their hands more often throughout the day

Ø  Nannies disinfect classrooms more often daily

Ø  Classrooms are ventilated (windows are open to allow air circulation)

Ø  Teachers practice with students coughing and sneezing in their elbows to limit the spread of germs

Ø  School staff limits physical contact with students, e.g. no kisses are allowed

We would like to request the following:

Ø  Please make sure that your child washes their hands often throughout the day

Ø  Please practice proper coughing and sneezing with your child

Ø  Boost your child’s immunity with proper diet (lots of fruits and vegetables; limiting sweets)

Ø  Please consider not sending children with fever to school. Fever means that the body is fighting an active infection. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen lower the fever but they do not cure the infection. One sick child can infect many in class.

We would like to assure you that we are doing our best to keep your child safe and healthy.

Thank you for your support. KG Administration
