This site is you will use it each class time.

I would like to start having you sign in on a Google Doc each week so I can track attendance. I would like you to leave me a comment each week.

ACEL Sign In Form

2) Logo
I think we need a STEAM class logo. Think about it!

3) Evidence
For this class you will have a digital portfolio of your work and what you've done in this class. Please make sure you keep track of everything. We will be making a Google Site for this class.

Click to create a new site.
Name it something appropriate for school.
Choose any theme you want!

Decorate the home page to give an impression about who you are. (Make it appropriate for school!!)

Notice on the right hand side is more directions and help.

Share the site with choose "IS OWNER" so I can help you with your site. More than one person can be an owner on the site.

4) Texture Images

Previously we had taken pictures of texture images
Here is a folder to put the images into if you're able to.

5) Infographics

Write at least ONE thing you learned on the articles onto this document:

Infographics 11/1/13

6) Make an infographic... a lame one.
From the articles you should have options for infographic creation programs. In the time you have left make an infographic, even if it is lame looking. I want you to push buttons and figure some things out.

You will need to turn in what you make next time so please be ready to turn that in!

1) Welcome
If you participated in the field trip to Fulton Mall last week, you accomplished quest #2. You can turn this in once we set up your quest list.

2) Explore Infographics
We will be making infographics in this class. You will want to look up infographics and be aware of some different types of infographics you could make. Think about projects you can create using infographics. We want to make a meaningful impact in the community.

3) Syllabus

4) Quest List

5) Digital Portfolio
For this course you are asked to neatly organize all of your work into a digital portfolio. You can use a Wordpress site or a Google Site. The wordpress advantage is the iOS and Android apps. The Google Site advantage is how easy it is to insert Google stuff, and we will doing a LOT of google stuff!

6) Flickr accounts

7) Photo Safari to the Fulton Mall
We want to take pictures of textures and other things that give a feel for the Fulton Mall. We will be collecting images to use and share. Your pictures will be potentially lame, but throughout this class we will learn to take better pictures and embrace iphoneography techniques. If you do not have a mobile device that takes pictures we will want to borrow something so you can.

Next week we will share our photos and analyze them critically.
