Vocabulary Word of the Week: commit- v. to say that something will definitely do something.
STEM Vocabulary Word of the Week: philosophy- n. the study of the nature of life, truth, knowledge, and other important human matters.
What are we learning?
How can you use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve one- and two-step word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing?
The students will be able to use addition and subtraction within 100 to solve one- and two-step word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing.
Math Homework is Checked daily.
Homework Practice Book can stay at home. Students with assistance of their parents can rip out the pages and bring to school daily.
For example if Tuesdays homework is lesson 2.1, Wednesday they will bring in that homework page to check in class.
What do plants need? Why do plants grow? What do animals need?
The students will be able to recognize what plants and animals need to live.
What is integrity?
The students will be able to identify if a character is showing integrity.
Students need to complete 45 minutes of I-Ready Math by the end of the week.
The week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday at 11:59pm.
Students can chose when to do I-Ready, as long as they complete those 45 minutes for that week.
I will check I-Ready progress Monday mornings for completion of the 45 minutes.
Is not mandatory, it is homework whenever it is assigned on the day of.
However!! It is HIGHLY recommended and beneficial for the students to do it, because it helps them with their fact fluency.
