Technology Integration at Conant


Welcome. Technology Integration involves integrating technology tools into the curriculum...to teach curriculum with tools that will engage and motivate students and to also help students learn skills based on the Massachusetts Technology Standards. 

Tools We Use.....

We have 1 computer labs with iMacs, MacBook carts for grades 1&2, and Grades 3&4 and Grades 5&6. We have a ChromeBook Cart  and several teachers have iPads. Our teachers have laptops and SmartBoards devices as well as projectors. There are several digital cameras available for use, as well as digital voice recorders, video cameras, and scanners.

  • 3rd Grade Keyboarding Initiative
  • Training students on Google Apps
Google at Conant....

Conant uses ABschools, our district Google Apps environment.  Students from 4rd grade to 6th grade have accounts to enable them access to Google Apps which allow them to email, create and collaborate on documents, use and create surveys. Third graders have accounts, but not access to email. 

As we continue to explore we continue to discover new ways to use these apps in the classroom.
