Career Speaker Program

The Career Speaker Program is an opportunity for juniors and seniors to listen to invited speakers discuss their occupations.  Three times during the school year the program hosts ten to twelve speakers representing a variety of professions.  

Students may sign up to attend one presentation each time, allowing them the opportunity to learn about three different occupations over the course of the year.   

The presentations are held during first period from 7:23 a.m. - 8:10 a.m.. Students who sign up by the deadline and attend the presentation will have their absence from that day's first period class marked as a field trip. Students are responsible for any missed work. 

The 2017-2018 Career Speaker Program will be held on the following dates:
  • Wednesday, October 18, 2017
  • Wednesday, December 6, 2017 
  • Wednesday, March 7, 2018
Two weeks prior to each program, juniors and seniors will receive and email invitation to with a link to register for the program.
