About Me

I'm from Toledo, Ohio but have lived in Ann Arbor since attending the University of Michigan in 1995.  I have a bachelor's degree in biology from U of M and am certified to teach biology and chemistry.  I'm currently working on my master's degree in physical science from Michigan State University.  I have been a Skyline Eagle since the very beginning and have taught ACIS 1, S/G Chemistry 1 & 2, and AP Biology.  I love to spend any free minute of my time with my husband and 2 young children.  You might see us Saturday mornings at the Farmer's Market or Zingerman's, hanging out at the library, or visiting the Hands-On or Natural History museums.  We also try to escape to northern Michigan from time to time and look for fossils on the shores of Lake Michigan.  I'm also an avid Crossfitter, love to cook, and enjoy all kinds of music.  I'm looking forward to another great year at Skyline!
