Greetings Future Clague Cougar Pride Families,

I would like to welcome all of our incoming 6th graders and parents to Clague Middle School. I know that coming to middle school can be a scary thought if this is your first Middle School experience, but we have a great group of 6th grade teachers that will look after your children and make sure that they are taken care of throughout the year.

We will have additional transition events setup for your child in addition to a student orientation and handbook.  Prior to the start of the next school year you should receive a parent handbook with information to assist you with the middle school transition.  Schedule Pickup has been scheduled for late August.  At that time an opportunity for you and your child to practice their locker combination and walk through their schedule.

For Parents:

5th Grade Parent Orientation on Thursday February 23, 2017 at 6:30 PM. (Orientation for parents only).

The parent orientation program will begin in Clague auditorium. We will provide you with an overview of our middle school program and will answer any questions that you may have. At the orientation you will learn about the 6th grade curriculum, classroom expectations, co-curricular opportunities for students and student led building tours (optional). I am confident that our parent orientation program will provide you with important information about Clague and that it will also demonstrate our school’s commitment to our middle school students and their families.
