Candida Mannozzi, (Masters Degree from Yale University and a Graduate Diploma from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), is Senior Manager, Program Development at the Association of American Geographers. At AAG, she contributes her expertise to designing and implementing organizational programs that build professional and institutional capacity. She is responsible for supporting the AAG’s Developing Regions Membership Program, focused on outreach to geographers, researchers, scholars and professionals of related disciplines in developing countries. Ms. Mannozzi has over twenty years of professional experience in program and project management on an international scale. She is also actively engaged in developing the AAG’s collaborations with African partner organizations including EIS-Africa, Makerere University, UNEP, the RCMRD, the Lake Victoria Basin Commission and many others. Her varied background includes small business ownership, production work in TV media, management of U.S. government sponsored programs that serve developing countries, as well as international education. She is a native Italian and U.S. citizen fluent in six languages.
