I grew up in Agona Swedru, a beautiful town in the Central Region of Ghana. My basic education was in the Central Region, however, I completed my Senior High School education at Tema Methodist Day Senior High School located in Tema a city in the Greater Accra Region.
My first degree was done in the University of Ghana where I read the course I loved most, Geography and Resource development. Currently, I am offering Environmental Science and Sanitation Studies (Mphil) still in the University of Ghana.
Due to my love for the natural sciences, I hope to be a Teacher to impact knowledge into others and also be a consultant to help in eliminating the current environmental issues that are so pressing in my country at the moment.
I am the type who loves to travel, read and prepare new recipes during my leisure hours.

I have a biophysical science educational background, with post-graduate studies in ecology and environmental science. I made extensive use of GIS and Remote Sensing applications in my graduate reseach in sustainable land-use and land cover analysis. I have also taken short courses in MIS and Principles of Management, with geography as one of my best subjects in secondary school. Currently, I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies of the University of Ghana. The job involves both research and teaching of graduate students of the institute. I have provided consultance consultancy services to international institutions/organizations with extensive applications of GIS in sustainable resource use decision making, climate change impact risk, land-use/cover dynamics, participatory GIS, etc. Improving the application of GIS and Remote Sensing in research, sustainable environmental resources use analysis and management/policy decisions is one of my academic goals.
