The OSAC Scholarship Application provides current and future Oregon students one easy application to apply for multiple scholarships at one time. The 2027-2028 Application will open November 1st.
2025 MHS Ford Recipients, Andres Pineda, Yashira Chavero, and Manny Meraz
Ford Scholars Program is an undergraduate scholarship available to promising high school seniors or recent high school graduates who work hard, have significant financial need and face barriers to higher education. The scholarship covers 90% of a students unmet need after other grants and scholarships for 4 years. Up to 130 renewable scholarships are awarded each year to students from Oregon and Siskiyou County, California. Application opens December 1st - Deadline is March 1st.
Oregon Promise Grant: If you are considering an Oregon community college and you were above a 2.0 cumulative GPA, you should apply for the Oregon Promise Grant. It is quick and there is potential funding if you choose any community college in Oregon. Even if you end up changing your mind and not attending one, there is no harm and you've lost nothing. So we highly encourage you to do so even if there is the slightest chance you might go that route or dual enroll with a university and community college! The application closes June 1. This is your only chance to receive this funding. Learn more at oregonstudentaid.gov.
Jefferson Scholarship Foundation: All college or trade-school bound seniors should fill out this application! We have a very generous community and there are dozens of scholarships organized through this one application. This application will be available in the Future Center by mid-February.
JCSD 509J, School Board Promise Scholarship: Up to $3000 will be awarded to seniors. Scholarship is intended for use during the awardees second semester of college. This and other district scholarship applications will be available in late spring.
OSAC Scholarship Application: The Oregon Students Access Commission has hundreds of scholarships available through this single application. Apply each year you are attending college.
Chafee Education and Training Grant: This grant program through OSAC is intended to provide college funding for students who are current or former foster youth. Apply through OSAC.
Oregon Tribal Student Grant: Provides funding for students enrolled in an Oregon based tribe who will be attending college in Oregon. Application is available through OSAC. This grant will pay full cost of attendance after other public grants are factored in.
