Making the Grade You will be making and grading your own test. Do you want to write a math test? a science test? a history test? or a test about your favorite sport? Decide on the subject for you test and the number of questions, then write your test and answer key. Next, make a grading sheet showing the number wrong, fraction correct, decimal grade and percent grade. The sheet should include all possible test results. See example below
Ask at least five people to take your test. Record the time in minutes it takes each person to complete the test. Create a results page for each test-taker. The results page should include: · the number of problems wrong · the faction of the problems correct · the grade as a decimal · the grade as a percent · the time it took to complete the test written as a decimal part of an hour · order the test results from least to greatest Write a summary of your project. Include some of the following in your summary: · How did you determine the points for your test? · How did you change the fractions to decimals? · Were all of you decimal grades exact amounts? · Did you round any of the grades? · What did you learn during this project?
