The first “4-Way Voice” (Báo Bốn Phương) was published on December 2006. It was a Vietnamese version, and most of the content was written in Vietnamese.
We provide the Taiwan migrant worker/bride policy to Vietnamese. Meanwhile, most of the stories we report are the Vietnamese writing their own experiences in Taiwan. “4-Way Voice”, which as a public instrument, provides a co-field to the migrants to share their feelings to the fellows, calms their anxiety, and comforts the overseas loneliness.
With the same thought, we published “4-Way Voice” in Thai version on April 2008. Until now, they are the only two presses which were written mainly in Vietnamese/ Thai and made in Taiwan, by Taiwanese media.
We see ourselves, “4-Way Voice”, as the companion, partner, support to the migrant workers and brides in Taiwan. We also take a stand on the minority. We try hard to reverse the mainstream media’ viewpoint which always look down the people from Southeast Asia, otherwise, we collect the power of the minority to gain human right together.
