Tech Focus of the Month

This page will provide an overview of what is being taught in the Technology Lab each month for students in grades K-5.

September:  Students will learn about the parts and functions of the computer and how to treat the computers and their peripherals (mouse, keyboard, headphones, etc.) respectfully. This month our focus is "All About Me". Students will share details about what makes them unique such as biographical information, favorites, and technology preferences.

Students in grades K-2 will learn about what makes websites safe and just right for them. They will learn 3 rules to follow when going online and then visit websites that relate to what is being taught in their classroom. Students in grades 3-5 will learn about their online and offline responsibilities to themselves, their family and friends, and their community.
