Welcome to the Hudsonville Orchestra Program!
The Hudsonville Orchestras, founded in 2001, have grown into a wonderful program of performing ensembles 6th-12th grade. Over 525 orchestra students in the program continue to represent Hudsonville well earning top division ratings at festival and performing musically and technically rewarding concerts at the Hudsonville Auditorium and out in the community.
Students start their orchestra career in one of four 6th Grade Orchestra classes at The 5/6 Building at Georgetown and Riley Street Middle School. Six 7th and 8th Grade Orchestras continue at Baldwin Street Middle School and Riley Street Middle School. They then progress to three High School Orchestras at Hudsonville High School.
Students perform regularly at local senior resident centers, The Chicago Field Museum, Grand Rapids Griffins games, West Michigan Whitecaps games, Disney World, MSBOA Solo and Ensemble, MSBOA District Festival. Many Hudsonville students regulary performing in the St. Cecilia Youth Orchestras, the Grand Rapids Youth Orchestras, the MSBOA Honors Orchestra, and the Michigan All-State Orchestras.
