Counselors will call students in individually to approve each plan after students submit their Course Plan.
If you plan on taking dual credit courses as a junior or senior, please indicate which courses/programs you would like to take in the notes portion, which is available at the end of the submission process in SchooLinks.
Counselors will give information about applying, the Accuplacer test, and how/when to enroll during the individual meetings.
Please have this completed by February 10.

DUAL CREDIT CLASSES:
2 different routes
1.) Academic courses (freshmen pre-requisites such as, but not limited to: Comp I and II, College Alg, Public Speaking, Art Appreciation, American History, Government, Psychology, etc)
students generally take 2 classes at a time during one block (one class is MWF, the other is T/Th
online classes are also offered; no set time to work on them; be mindful of due dates and participation dates
2 college classes=approx. $420
Must pass the Accuplacer to qualify for the classes (CNA included)
2.) Vocational Pathway (see chart to left); prices vary per pathway
CNA is generally offered in blocks: 1, 3, 4 (Fall or Spring)
CMA is generally offered in blocks 1 and/or 5 (Spring); must complete CNA first
Other pathways are Mornings (blocks 1-3) or Afternoons (blocks 4-5 and runs longer than 3:01)
*DCHS students are responsible for their own transportation
**Payments are not due until Oct. (Fall session) and Feb. (Spring session); you are allowed to break them into 3 payments
