New Healthy Vending Machine Installed at Ward Melville High School

The Wellness Committee has introduced a new initiative to expand access to nutritious food options at Ward Melville High School. A Farmer’s Fridge vending machine has been installed in the gymnasium lobby, offering a variety of fresh and healthy selections. This marks the first time a Farmer’s Fridge has been installed in a school, making it a significant step toward promoting healthier eating habits for students.

The machine provides salads, sandwiches, wraps, yogurts, and vegetarian and vegan options, catering to diverse dietary needs. It is available to staff during the day and students after school.
