Attendance will be taken daily by the classroom teacher (elementary level) or the teacher in each instructional class period (secondary level) and entered into Infinite Campus for tracking and reporting purposes. Technology tools (e.g. GoGuardian teacher session) will be available to assist teachers with taking attendance. Current school attendance policies and procedures will remain in effect for all instructional plans (in-person, remote, or hybrid). Classroom teachers will monitor student attendance and participation daily and will reach out to students and their families who have not engaged in learning. Building administrators and support staff will communicate regularly with teachers, as well as utilize the district’s Early Warning System dashboard to identify students who are chronically absent and in need of additional support.
