Teacher and Principal Evaluation

Teachers and principals will be evaluated pursuant to the currently approved Annual Professional Performance Review (APPR) plan. The district’s APPR plan is an important tool that will help guide district administrators and teachers in further growth and development. The Observations/School Visits subcomponent for educators will be adapted to meet local needs depending on whether instruction happens in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid model. Pursuant to the approved APPR plan, the district will utilize the Danielson/Multidimensional Principal Performance (MPPR) rubrics and will prioritize components of the rubric that are most observable depending on the instructional model. Meetings and observations defined in the APPR plan could take place in-person or remotely and will be adjusted if the instructional plan changes. Educators will receive timely feedback and support throughout the school year.
