Homeless Youth Services
NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Child Care Council of Greater Houston, Inc. ("CCC") has been awarded grant funds via the City of Houston from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs through the 2020 Texas Homeless Housing and Services Programs (HHSP); and potentially Emergency Solutions Grant and Community Development Block Grant Funds.
The City has contracted with CCC to administer the Homeless Services Program (HSP) including Homeless Services for Youth. Agencies will be selected to contract with CCC for the provision of services to Homeless Youth Headed Households effective April 1, 2020 through August 31, 2020 or until all funds have been expended, which ever comes first.
CCC, is seeking Texas nonprofit organizations with documentation of 501 (c) (3) nonprofit status to provide the following services for youth 18-24 years in the City of Houston:
- Essential Services for Persons experiencing Homelessness in Youth-Headed Household
- Street Outreach for Persons experiencing Homelessness in Youth-Headed Households;
- Transitional Living for Persons experiencing Homelessness in Youth-Headed Households;
- Persons experiencing Homelessness in Youth-Headed Households in an HHSP-Youth funded day/night Shelter
- Case management for Persons experiencing Homelessness in Youth-Headed Households.
A copy of the Request for Proposals (RFP) is available for download from CCC's Website at https:www.3cdev.org/. It is the responsibility of each applicant to electronically generate and examine the entire RFP, seek clarification in writing, and review their submittal for accuracy before submitting questions relating the RFP. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at CCC, 6220 Westpark, Suite 150, on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is not mandatory. Deadline for submission of questions related to the RFP is 5:00 p.m., February 7, 2020 at CCC, 6220 Westpark, Suite 150, Houston, Texas 77057.
