Reading
Encourage your child to read 15 minutes every night. Please listen to your child read for 5 minutes during the 15 minute reading time.
Please be sure that book bags are in your child's backpack every night.

Notes
We will have book reports this week.

For NLSW, students will complete a National Park/National Historic Site/National Monument project. If you have any questions about the project, please contact me. This project is due Monday, January 23rd.

We will celebrate the 100th Day of School Friday, January 27th. A note with information will be sent home today.

Information about our Flat Stanley project came home today. Please send the address to school Friday, January 20th.

Winter Map Testing is this week. We will test on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.

Here are some helpful tips during testing week:
1. Get plenty of rest.
2. Eat a good breakfast.
3. Be on time and please do not schedule any appointments. Tests will begin at 8:20 a.m.
4. Do your best on the test. Encourage your child to take his/her time on the test.


Please remember to wear tennis shoes and send a t-shirt for gym on Wednesday.
