7th-12th Grade Parents Meeting/Kick-off Day Saturday Sept. 10th

posted Sep 8, 2016, 6:59 PM by Minnesota Aquafins   [ updated Sep 8, 2016, 7:05 PM ]

Hello Everyone! We're looking forward to our first day of Aquafins practice on Saturday for our 7th-12th grade swimmers!

Here's what our first day will look like!

11:30 - Parents and swimmers will attend a start-of-season informational meeting in the Cafeteria at St. Louis Park High School. This meeting usually lasts about 1 hour - we HIGHLY recommend at least one parent attend the meeting. Documents/information covered will be placed on our website after the meeting under PARENT RESOURCES for you to reference as needed.

About 12:20-2pm - After the meeting wraps up, swimmers will head to the pool area for the first practice. PRACTICE will end at 2PM this weekend, as having all our girls at one practice (usually divided into 3 practices on Saturdays) does not make swimming much of an option :) Swimmers should come prepared with their suits/caps/goggles but will most likely only be in the water for a brief bit.

*IMPORTANT - swimmers are NOT required to be registered with SLP Community Education by the first practice. HOWEVER - we do REQUIRE the swimmer information sheet to be completed via our team website (under PARENT RESOURCES) in order for girls to be allowed in the pool. We will have a computer or two available at the meeting to fill out the form if it is missing for your swimmer but please fill out before the meeting if you haven't done so already.

As always, please email us at mnaquafins@gmail.com with questions and concerns! Looking forward to the start of another wonderful season!

 Grades 7-12:

Aquafins Summer Camp 2015!

posted May 29, 2015, 12:25 PM by Minnesota Aquafins   [ updated May 29, 2015, 3:42 PM ]

Thanks for your patience as we worked out some things on our end, but FINALLY registration is up for Aquafins Summer Camp!

Here's the Link!

We have classes for swimmers entering 1st-6th grade in the 2015-2016 school year as well as classes for those entering 7th-12th grades. Please register ASAP as space may be limited! Swimmers can chose to attend 1x per week or 2x per week - different skills will be worked on at each practice so there will be new things each day! Just register for both Tuesday and Thursday sessions if your swimmer wants to swim 2x per week.

Practices will be held at the St. Louis Park High School Pool. Please note that there are no practices held the week following the 4th of July as this is a no-contact week required by the Minnesota State High School League.
Please email with questions! We're looking forward to seeing many of our returning swimmers as well as meeting those who are new to Aquafins and synchronized swimming! Hope the final few days of school go well for everyone!

Hey Everyone!

Take a look around our new website! We are giving this site a trial run during Spring Aquafins this year to determine if it works better for our particular program needs than our previous one! We will ask for feedback at the end of Spring on the new site to decide which site will be used during our 2015-2016 season! Please email with any questions or concerns as we all learn the ins and outs of the new webpage!
