Monkton Arts
WELCOME TO MONKTON ARTS!
Monkton Arts is a family run, community-based cafe and arts centre in Ryde on the Isle of Wight.
Dawn and Jenna (mother and daughter) offer a friendly welcome to all of our visitors and are keen to promote the vibrant creative community that the Monkton Village area of Ryde has to offer.
Please see the sections below for a brief overview of what we have to offer.
In the evening it transforms into a low light twinkling, intimate and airy Jazz and blues venue, showcasing the very best of local, mainland and international musicians. (see music events page for up-to-date shows).
We now have a full licensed Bar

COMMUNITY
Monkton Arts grew out of the local Ryde and Isle of Wight community. Various groups utilise The Lounge @ Monkton Arts for a relaxed and friendly meeting place.
We also serve as a hub for initiating, curating and facilitating various local enterprises and initiatives in a range of fields including the arts, education, retail and regeneration. We believe grass-roots initiatives help to bind the community together and offer a platform for various skills and group projects.
