We start playing the wind instrument, the RECORDER.

First steps to follow are:

• Play in the right place and at the right time when you practice.

• Treat the instrument properly, it is not a toy or a hammer.

• Hold the recorder with both hands: LEFT ON THE TOP and RIGHT DOWN.

• Try to get a good sound always, for this purpose, blow gently and keep a steady blowing.

• Move the tongue up to the top of the mouth, remember as if you were saying /DU/ sound.

Let's start with some about the BEAT.

We can define the BEAT as the steady pulse that you feel in the tune, like a clock's tick.

Try to catch the BEAT in the next famous pop songs. Show the beat for every one clapping by your hands, for instance.

Moving on, here you have our Halloween song for this year.

Practice it and try to add some movements in the 'bridge' (the instrumental music part).
