Whitewater Family Emergency Fundraising

Helen Keller Quote

Whitewater Unified School District’s Family Emergency Fund serves families district-wide, from 4K-12th grade.

The mission of the Family Emergency Fund is to assist families when they are experiencing financial difficulty due to a crisis, job loss, illness or other event. The fund can be utilized to help with rent, utility payments, and other necessities to support students and families once per year. We also direct families to other sources of support in the county.

This fund is supported through the generous support of community organizations, including the UW-W Optimists, the District Leadership Team, local businesses, individual community members, WUSD student organization fundraisers, WUSD staff donations.

We are very fortunate in Whitewater to have such a caring and generous community so that we can continue to offer financial assistance through our Family Emergency Fund. 100% of donations are used to directly benefit WUSD students and families.
