As we all know, this school year will look differently than any other year. For many of our students, this may be their first school experience, but for others, the changes may be tough to handle.

Your student support and counseling team at Heritage Primary School is dedicated to the academic, social, and personal development and support of every student, virtual or in-person.

Your student support and counseling team will be providing classroom guidance lessons, both virtually and in-person, centered around topics like emotional regulation, coping skills, and mindfulness; running small groups focused on topics like anxiety, self-control, and friendship; meeting individually with students as needed (virtually and/or in-person); interacting with students in the hallways, in the classrooms, at lunch, and at recess to build meaningful relationships with HP students; collaborating with teachers and staff on best practices for meeting our students' needs; communicating with parents; and consulting with outside organizations in the community which can help further meet the needs of the students and parents who make up the HPE family.
