About Me:

I love what agriculture is all about! Agriculturists feed the world, fuel your cars, sustain the natural resources and produce the fiber that builds our world. To say that everyday in the Ag Room is the same would be untrue. I teach classes that include Plant Science, Ag Sales and Computers, Ag Mechanics and Maintenance, Ag Engineering and Ag Power and Equipment. We learn with drones, welders, I-pads, and good old-fashioned hands on curriculum that engages all students.

We take what we learn and apply it to the “real world” through events and activities of the National FFA Organization. The West Lyon FFA has a strong history of molding and creating natural leaders that graduate and become productive citizens that offer their leadership and a strong work ethic to many different industries. We consistently compete at a high level at the local, state and national levels.

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family on our farm where we raise three boys, livestock and crops. I enjoy music and sports and anything to do with making things and fixing things. They always say, “if you love what you do you will never work another day in your life”! I love what I do!
