I am currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at Cornell University, working with Prof. Ying Sun, where my research focuses on integrating multi-source satellite remote sensing, earth system modeling, and deep learning to monitor natural disasters, explore terrestrail carbon dynamics, and advance sustainable development goals.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Earth System and GeoInformation Science from the Institute of Space and Earth Information Science (ISEIS), Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2023, supervised by Prof. Peifeng Ma, Prof. Mei-Po Kwan, and Prof. Hongsheng Li. I received my B.Eng. in Remote Sensing from Wuhan University (WHU) in 2019. Additionally, in 2022, I served as a research intern at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
In the past years, as Co-I, Co-drafter, technical leader, or participant, I have actively contributed to several prestigious research projects supported by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). My research output has garnered social recognition from the academic community, industry sectors, government agencies, and international organizations, and has been included in United Nations publication.
