Biography

Xiangyu Luo is currently an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the Institute of Statistics and Big Data, Renmin University of China (RUC). 

He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Department of Statistics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2018 and was supervised by Prof.Yingying Wei. Prior to that, Xiangyu Luo graduated from Department of Statistics and Finance, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2014. 

Xiangyu Luo serves as an Associate Editor for Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation (2025.4---present) and will serve as an Associate Editor for Biometrics (2026.7---2028.6).
