Nathaniel Swift (he/him) is a writer, artist, teacher, dad, and pet parent living in Chicago. He currently teaches elementary & middle school drama and writes as often as he can -- right now he's writing middle-grade sci-fi and mystery, time travel novels and short stories, picture books, and a bit of haiku (@haikuformykids at both Twitter and Instagram).

Nat's first published short story, BLUE SKIES, is included in the anthology The Accidental Time Travelers Collective, Volume 1. The first four episodes of his middle-grade mystery DADDY SCHOOL are available on Kindle Vella. He is also working on a middle-grade sci-fi series, THE FIRST KID ON MARS, about a group of kids who move to Mars and save the solar system with help from Winnie-the-Pooh.

Nat is also an award-winning actor and director, former Artistic Director of Eclipse Theatre Company, and has years of experience working with playwrights and ensembles to develop stories.
