This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "WiFi Warden" (“Application”, "App") for Android devices that was created by Ramtin Ardeshiri.F and and his subsidiaries and affiliates ("we", "us", "our" ). This page is used to inform App users regarding policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use the App.

The term “you” or “your” as used in this Policy, means any person or entity who accesses or uses the Services.

Also, you can see a list of ad technology providers and their privacy policy. Please note that the privacy policies of those ad technology providers are not included on this page and are only available in the consent page that you will see in the app. You can change your choice anytime by the "Ad Preferences" option inside the "Help" menu (You must be connected to the Internet and be in EEA in order to see this option ).   • Communicate with you concerning our service so that we can send you news about WiFi Warden, details about new features and content available on WiFi Warden, special offers, promotional announcements, consumer surveys, and to assist you with operational requests such as password reset requests. These communications may be by various methods, such as email, push notifications , text message, online messaging channels, and matched identifier communications.

The application is using a crash reporting tool, Firebase Crashlytics, a business division of Google Inc., to send our developers information about bugs and crashes that users experience.

The Services automatically collect certain information that does not personally identify End Users who access or use mobile applications that use the Services.

This information includes, but is not limited to, device state information, unique device identifiers, device hardware and OS information,

information relating to how an application functions, and the physical location of a device at the time of a crash.

Permissions

Location Permission:

WiFi Warden Uses "ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION" permission to make the application able to search for available WiFi networks around you.

The reason you need to allow location permission is because of Android 6.0 (and higher versions) limitations and the new Google policy. This permission will not be used by the developer of WiFi Warden to find your precise location in any way.

Please note that third-party partners may use this permission to display relevant ads.

Root Permission:

If your phone is rooted, you can give root access to the app. This access is used to recover stored Wi-Fi passwords on your device and connection with WPS (Root-method).

Our Policy Towards Children

The App is intended for general audiences and is NOT directed to children. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information about users under age 18.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction where you are considered a minor), your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms (both for themselves and on your behalf) before you can use our services.

In the case we discover that a child under age 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us via email (information below) so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. To opt-out from third-party service providers, you must visit their privacy policy page.

Data Retention

We will try to limit the storage of your personal information to the time necessary to serve the purpose(s) for which your personal information was processed, to enforce our agreement, policies or terms, to resolve disputes, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
