Important Updates

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

1. Chocolate Sale! - Scouts, please remember to bring back your envelopes from your chocolate sales. This is very important! Leaderboard has been sent out.

2. November Camping Trip Deposits Due - The camping trip will be from November 21-23. Cost will be $50.00, $35.00 for deposits due this meeting with $15.00 going to your patrol leader for shopping on 11/19/25. 

3. Alex’s Life Project - Alex Dhanraj is having his life project, a food drive, from 10/29/25 to 11/19/25. Click here for more information. Let’s make sure we support our fellow scout and bring items to the meeting.

4. Preston Liao’s Eagle Project - Preston is co-hosting an annual event called World Day of Remembrance, where people all around NYC get together to commemorate all that have died to traffic violence since last year. There is a preparation day on Tuesday, November 11th (Veterans Day) and the event day is Sunday, November 16th. If possible, please sign up and volunteer or donate! 5. PS 163 Harvest Fest 11/14/25 - The PTA at PS 163 is requesting volunteers from our troop to decorate and run games at this event from 5:15 - 8:30 PM. More details at Scout Meeting.

6. A Scout Is Reverent Hike 11/25/25 - All scouts are invited to attend this annual 5 mile hike to explore various different religions within our community! 7. 2026 National Jamboree - From July 22-31, the National Jamboree is being hosted by Summit Bechtel Reserve! Thousands of scouts from across the country will gather in West Virginia for fun activities like rock climbing, zip-lining, biking, paddle boarding, and more! For more information, visit this link.

January 9-11 (Cabin) Winteree in Durland Scout Reservation 

February 13-16 (Cabin) Winter Retreat - Camp Conron (Location may change)

March 13-15 (Cabin/Tents) - Camp Buck Hill - Pascoag, RI

April 24-26 (Tents) - Pouch Scout Camp (Camporee)

May 22-25 (Bungalows/Tents) - Camp Wokpominee (RAFTING Trip!!)

June 19-21 (Father’s Day Weekend) (Tents) - TBD Bring your Father/Uncle/Mentor/Parent to Camp!!
