Colorado NASP Expectations/Requirements
State approved specialist program (60 graduate semester hours) or doctoral program for school psychologist, serving children birth-21.
Pass the Praxis School Psychologist exam
(Passing Score: 147 - Until August 31, 2023; Passing Score: 155 - After August 31, 2023Practica consisting of a sequence of closely supervised on-campus or field-based activities.
An internship consisting of a full-time experience of over 1 year, or half-time, over 2 years with a minimum of 1200 clock hours, of which at least 600 hours must be in a school setting.
