The UChicago Constructed Languages Society

In Spring 2026, our meetings are officially every Thursday 6:30-7:30pm in Rosenwald 208. However, this varies and the UChicago Constructed Language Society's meetings are confirmed by announcement on our Discord server, so please join it if interested.

Following a chance meeting with Editor Carrie Golus during the Winter Quarter 2025 RSO fair, the then Minister of Communications Timo organized an interview between the club and Ed. Golus. In addition, at Ed. Golus' suggestion, we translated the Alama Mater into the UChiconlang where Ed. Golus was able to organize a professionally sung rendition of this translation from the lovely Lauren Schachter. Our club interview is here and the song is here.
