True Home Market ("True Home Market," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. True Home Market is operated by an individual owner doing business under the name "True Home Market." References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to the individual operator of the app and website unless and until they are transferred to a registered business entity.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use the True Home Market mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Country, state/province/region, city, and postal/ZIP code

Listings & Content
Item titles, descriptions, prices, photos, and categories
Trade or delivery preferences
Location or area associated with listings
User-generated content you post publicly such as images, text, or reviews
For livestock or animal listings: species, breed, age, and any health or vaccination information you voluntarily provide
Messaging & Reviews
Messages and chat content exchanged through the Service
Ratings, reviews, and feedback left for other users or listings
Subscription & Payment Information
Subscription plan details and status
Billing dates, renewal settings, and identifiers such as Stripe customer ID or RevenueCat subscriber ID
We do not store full payment card data. Payments are securely handled by Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play depending on your platform.
Device, Web & Usage Data
Device or browser type, operating system, version, and IP address
App and web activity data including actions taken, session duration, and interaction patterns
Crash logs, diagnostics, and analytics data via Firebase, Stripe, or similar trusted providers
For web users: cookies and local storage data to maintain sessions, preferences, and improve experience
Location Data
Approximate location such as city or region derived from postal codes or user input
We do not track continuous or precise GPS locations
Third-Party Data Sources
Farmers market event listings sourced from the USDA Local Food Directory and similar public databases
This data is used solely to populate event listings and is not linked to individual user profiles

Cookies, web beacons, and local storage may be used to:
Maintain login sessions
Improve functionality and usability
Provide analytics and measure performance
Users can adjust browser settings to manage or block cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect Service functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information

Display farmers market event listings sourced from third-party public databases such as the USDA Local Food Directory

3. What We Do NOT Do
We do not:

Share user information for third-party advertising or marketing without explicit consent
Access device photos, files, or contacts without user permission
Track real-time GPS or background location
Use animal health or vaccination information provided in livestock listings for any purpose other than displaying that listing
Knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age
4. Data Sharing
We may share limited information as necessary with:
Service Providers
Firebase, hosting services, analytics platforms, and essential infrastructure providers who are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services on our behalf.
Payment & Subscription Partners
Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play — all of which process payments securely and independently under their own privacy policies.
Third-Party Data Sources
We use publicly available data from the USDA Local Food Directory to populate farmers market event listings. This integration does not involve sharing your personal data with the USDA or any government entity.
Legal & Safety Purposes
We may share data if required by law, court order, subpoena, or legal authority, or to protect the safety and rights of users or the public. We will attempt to notify affected users of such requests unless prohibited by law.
Operational Support
Trusted vendors or contractors who operate under confidentiality obligations and are permitted to use your data only as necessary to perform services for us.
Business Transfers
If True Home Market is sold, merged, or transferred to a registered business entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change via the Service or email.
We do not permit third parties to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party services, each operating under their own privacy policies:
Google Maps / Mapping APIs — for location-based features
Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Analytics — for account management and app performance
Stripe — for web payments and subscription management
RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play — for mobile payments and subscriptions
USDA Local Food Directory — for farmers market event data (public database, no personal data shared)
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their policies directly. We will update this section as integrations change.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures — including encryption, authentication, and restricted access — to safeguard your information. Access to personal data is limited to those who need it to operate the Service.
However, no online platform or transmission is completely secure. By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of internet-based systems. True Home Market is not liable for damages or losses resulting from unauthorized access, system compromise, or force majeure events beyond our reasonable control.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. Use a strong, unique password and enable any available two-factor authentication.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed to:
Operate and provide ongoing Service functionality
Fulfill legal, tax, or regulatory obligations
Resolve disputes or enforce our Terms of Use
Deleted accounts and associated personal data are typically removed within 30 days, unless retention is required by law. Listings, reviews, and messages may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form for analytics purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access or correct your personal information
Request deletion or restriction of processing of your data
Obtain a portable copy of your data
Withdraw consent to data processing at any time
Opt out of promotional use of your listing content
Lodge a complaint with a relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction

Note: Exercising certain rights such as requesting deletion may result in loss of access to parts of the Service.
9. User Content & Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you post or share, including images, messages, listing descriptions, and product details — including any information about animals or livestock.
True Home Market does not control or endorse user-generated content and bears no liability for interactions, disputes, or transactions between users. Do not post sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or precise home addresses in public listings or messages.
10. Children's Privacy
This Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account or provided personal information, that data will be deleted promptly. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us immediately at TrueHomeMarket@gmail.com.
11. International Users
True Home Market operates from the United States (Ohio). If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
By using the Service, you consent to such transfers. Users in regions with specific data protection laws such as the EU (GDPR), UK, Canada (PIPEDA), or Australia (Privacy Act) should be aware that data may be processed in jurisdictions that do not offer the same level of protection. 13. Content Promotion & Public Listings
Listings or items posted on True Home Market may be publicly visible and may be used for marketplace promotion on social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter). Only publicly viewable content such as listing images, titles, and descriptions may be used for promotional purposes. Your personal contact information, email, or private messages will never be used for external promotion.
You may opt out of promotional use of your listing content at any time by contacting us at TrueHomeMarket@gmail.com. Opting out does not affect content already published prior to your request.
14. Cookies & Do Not Track
True Home Market's web platform may use cookies and similar tracking technologies for session management, analytics, and performance improvement. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for doing so. You may control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, True Home Market and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
Unauthorized access to or use of your data
Service interruptions or downtime
Security breaches or hacking incidents outside our reasonable control
User disputes or third-party conduct
Inaccuracies in third-party data such as USDA farmers market listings
Loss of data due to account deletion, termination, or system failure
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Service features. Updates take effect upon posting to the app or website. For material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
