Touheed Anwar Atif

PhD Researcher in Quantum Information Theory and Computing

About Me

I am an experienced and passionate Ph.D. researcher at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with an interest in expanding the emerging field of Quantum Information Science.

In 2017, I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, graduating with distinction. From then, I pursued my P.hD. at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, having the privilege to work under the guidance of Prof. Sandeep Pradhan.

My research focuses on characterizing fundamental limits for both the Classical-to-Quantum and Quantum-to-Classical network settings. I rely on mathematical tools and concepts developed in algebraic geometry, statistics, and quantum theory to develop algorithms to achieve these limits.

In my free time, I avidly follow international cricket. I also enjoy swimming, table tennis, and serving my local community.
