About me

My name is Steven Pearce and this is my 3rd year at Eastside High School.  I came from North Greenville University, where I taught Exercise Science for 16 years.  At EHS, I am teaching Sports Medicine1 and Sports Nutrition.  I have a BS in Athletic Training from Mars Hill University and an MS in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University.  I also hold certifications as a Certified Exercise Physiologist and Exercise is Medicine Professional through the American College of Sports Medicine.  My wife (Ashley) and I have been married since August 2007 and have four boys, Caleb (14), Carter (12), Samuel (9), and Miles (5).  During my (minimal) free time, you can find me training for local road running races or on my kayak fishing.  I am excited to be a part of the amazing EHS community!
