Stefano Lepri was born in Florence, Italy, in 1966. He received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Bologna in 1996. Since 2005 he is researcher at the ISC-CNR in Florence.
His research interests range from the theory of nonlinear systems and deterministic chaos to the statistical mechanics of out-of-equilibrium processes, and in particular to anomalous transport and relaxation.
Since 2016 he is adjunct professor of Dynamical Systems theory at the University of Florence.
