Blue Shield of California (Clarity Consultants)
I worked as the lead designer for the Agile Learning Journeys project. I developed highly-interactive, multimedia content (e-learning, system simulations, scenarios, graphics, audio, video) for applying Agile principles and methodologies to business settings, using Rise and Storyline. Topics included Jira, Kanban, leadership, Agile toolkits, and metrics.
The following Rise course was chunked into three components of gradually increasing length. Overall, it was designed to address issues that Agile leaders were finding in system reports, due to inexperienced users' limited knowledge of Agile principles, Jira, its implementation at their organization, and/or the correct setup and use of fields.
Fully Interactive Course: This first piece gave learners a better understanding of key concepts for the Structured Agile Framework and how it is applied in their company.
Fully Interactive Course: This Rise component continued the process by helping users learn how they could improve the Jira epics and stories that they were writing.
Elevance Health (Clarity Consultants)
I served as design lead and peer reviewer, as well as designing content myself. Our tam developed an onboarding curriculum with reference guides, e-learning, video, and simulations for health insurance claim representatives. The curriculum covered both procedures and systems, and our team used both Rise and Storyline.
Recording: This Rise content was designed as a just-in-time, digital-quick-reference tool. Health insurance claims reps could jump into it anytime they are working with this data system and need fast information about this particular section's screens. They can consume just as much as they need at the moment, go back to their work, and return later for more information as necessary.
Fully Interactive Course: This Storyline course was designed to be part of the initial two weeks of orientation for new health insurance claims processors, introducing them to the basics of their new roles. They would then proceed on through additional weeks of increasingly in-depth training on tools, systems, processes, procedures and policies integral to successfully processing insurance claims.
Automation Anywhere (eLearning Brothers/Origin)
I designed and updated e-learning about robotic process automation (RPA). The content library was available to new staff, students, developers, and clients. My focus for a substantial part of the project was collaborating with a diverse team to create training for the British National Health System. Authoring tools included Storyline, Rise, and Camtasia.
Fully Interactive Course: This Rise course had highly-customized and interactive content specially designed for the NHS, introducing beginners and more advanced users to the fundamentals of RPA in a compressed timeframe.
