Spokane Scrabble is a friendly club for anyone who enjoys the game. Players of all skill levels attend and are welcome. No registration or membership is required, and there is no cost to participate. Our main focus is to have fun!

Meeting Day and Time

Second and Fourth Sunday of each Month from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM. If you need to show up later than noon, or take off before 4:00 PM, that's totally fine!

Skill Levels

Players of all skill levels are welcome. We do our best to pair players by skill level as much as possible.

Format

Each meeting will typically include three to four rounds of one-on-one games, with each round lasting approximately 50 minutes to one hour. All games will be adjudicated using the NWL2023 lexicon. Official NASPA player rules can be found here.

Equipment

The club will have a limited number of Scrabble sets available. Players are encouraged to bring their own set if possible. 

Clocks are used for club Scrabble play, with 25 minutes allotted to each player in a single game. Guidance will be provided for players who are new to timed play.
