Virtual Resources for Nonprofits Serving Children, Youth &Families

Every semester ChAD 158 Practicum students spend 65 hours with a community partner serving children, youth and families. When the COVID pandemic resulted in a county-wide shelter in place order, everything changed. Students could no longer work directly with children and families or even leave their homes for non-essential activities. Nonetheless, our dedicated students wanted to continue to help and build their professional skills.

This showcase is the product of weeks of work carried out by 11 teams to find and curate resources for children, families and non-profit staff to support child development in a time a great disruption.
