Society of Computer-Aided Designers, RUET is a premium platform for the CAD enthusiast. In SCADR we help fellow RUETians to acquire and harness their skill and potential in computer-aided design and help them to keep pace with the latest technology. Our journey started in the RUET cafeteria with a small group of people who loved designing and they started training some juniors who were very much interested in learning designing. The training was going so well that those people named themselves CAD club. Then interest in designing started to grow in others as well. So, they decided to give this temporary club a permanent form with the help of teachers. The teachers were always helpful. With their permission, the Society of Computer-Aided Designers, RUET (SCADR) was formed officially on 9 December 2016. Since then, except when the campus is closed, regular classes every Thursday and Friday are taken by the trained students of RUET. Every year a seminar is arranged for the new students of RUET to let them know about designing and SCADR. From the very beginning, SCADR has proved its excellence and success in various national and international events which bears the testimony of its worth. Our purpose is to train students so that they can pave a smooth path for the aspiring design engineers to stand out from the crowd and dominate the industry. We regularly update the software catalog to keep our members up to date.Β
