Hello, I am Dr. Rohan Bopage, a consultant physician specializing in infectious diseases and sexual health medicine, based in the beautiful harbor city of Sydney, Australia.

My medical journey began in Sri Lanka, where I graduated from the University of Colombo. I then gained foundational experience as a junior doctor in the UK's National Health Service before moving to Australia in 2006. Here, I completed my specialist training to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and furthered my expertise with a Master's degree from the University of Sydney.

Today, I work as a senior staff specialist within the Western Sydney Local Health District and hold an academic appointment as a clinical senior lecturer at the Westmead Clinical School, University of Sydney. Beyond my clinical practice, I am deeply invested in leading digital health projetcs designed to improve healthcare quality and safety.

A core focus of my work remains dedicated to providing specialized medical care to marginalized communities. My practice is driven by a commitment to healthcare equity and the promotion of community health services for at-risk populations. Engaging in this work is challenging, stimulating, and the source of great professional satisfaction.
