REDEMPTORIST LIFE
While many know St. Alfonso Maria de Liguori for his spiritual devotions, few have accessed the 'Steel' of his Dogmatic Works. In a newly revealed passage from the original Italian Opera Dogmatica (Page 467, n. 9), the Doctor of the Church provides a crystalline legal defense of the title Coredemptrix.
Explore the 'Mind's Science' behind the title that the Holy See is sworn to defend. This research, curated by our 'Living Library' (Fr. F, C.Ss.R.), bridges the gap between Baroque legal logic and Catholic Dogma.
PRAYER & SUFFERING, ENDURANCE, HAPPINESS?
Sister Consolata Betrone (1903–1946) was a Capuchin Poor Clare nun whose life and mystical experiences have become a beacon of hope for thousands of souls seeking a path to God through simplicity and love. Her story, primarily captured in the profound book "The Littlest Way of Love" (or The Vade Mecum of Love), offers a spiritual lifeline that is particularly potent for those navigating the darkest valleys of human existence. In historical and religious discussions, it is often asserted that the Catholic Church did not do enough to oppose the National Socialist movement. However, a study of the "fruits" of the era reveals a clear, formal stance taken by the Church well before the outbreak of the Second World War. Visit our History Page

We wish you will like and apply in your daily life the words of saint Alfonso Maria de Liguori, the antiliberal Bishop, Founder of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, the "Most Zealous Doctor" (Doctor Zelantissimus) of the Church, and known as the "Doctor of Prayer: "All sanctity consists in loving God, and the love of God consists in doing His will"
"When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. 27 After that, he saith to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her to his own."

The Redemptorists
"officially named the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Latin: Congregatio Sanctissimi Redemptoris), abbreviated CSsR,[1] is a Catholic clerical religious congregation of pontifical right for men (priests and brothers). It was founded by Alphonsus Liguori at Scala, Italy, for the purpose of labouring among the neglected country people around Naples. It is dedicated to missionary work and they minister in more than 100 countries. Members of the congregation are Catholic priests and consecrated religious brothers."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redemptorists#:~:text=a%20Catholic%20clerical%20religious%20congregation,neglected%20country%20people%20around%20Naples.
Redemptorists refer to the Priests and Brothers who are members of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Redemptorists, C.Ss.R.), located in Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia, or Oceania.
Therefore, the Redemptorists, whether they are young or old, modern or traditional, Brothers or Priests, cisalpine or transalpine European, African, American, Asian or Oceanian, are to be found only within the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, that was founded in November 1732.
This is a truth, a seamless and living tradition of the Catholic Church, that the Holy See has never changed. "Humility is truth."
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart reportedly made a profoundly humble statement about the Praeconium Paschale (more commonly known as the Exsultet)—the ancient, poetic chant sung during the Catholic Easter Vigil to bless the Paschal candle.
He is famously quoted as saying:
"I would gladly give up all my music to have written the Exsultet." ("Rinuncerei a tutta la mia musica pur di aver composto l'Exultet")

This humble, poor and modest site does not offer the latest news, event listings, or contact details for the Redemptorist Congregation and her beloved Priests and Brothers. Instead, it seeks to explore specific subjects with neutrality and detachment—examining facts through the lens of historical knowledge and the analytical power of AI. We do so mindful that God alone can neither deceive nor be deceived. As for the author of this site, they are but a person disfigured by sin, pride, and self-will. In the Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary. God bless our Pope Leo XIV.
