Welcome to the Mobile Communications Research Lab at the Department of Smart Information Technology, Kongju National University.

The Mobile Communications Research Lab at Kongju National University is a lab focused on studying radio engineering technologies related to mobile communications. It was established in 2003 at the Gongju Campus and relocated to the Cheonan Campus in 2009.

Our lab's research topics include stealth technologies in the defense sector, electromagnetic shielding technologies in the industrial sector, and more recently, studies on electromagnetic shielding structures using new materials, as well as foundational technologies for controlling electromagnetic waves in buildings. We conduct collaborative fusion research with related labs. From 2009 to 2017, we participated in the Specialized Research Center for Defense Low-Observable Technology, and from 2019 to 2024, in the Specialized Research Lab for Aircraft Low-Observable Technology. Since 2010, we have carried out basic and mid-career research projects funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea. Since 2015, we have been involved in the Smart Natural Space Research Center at Kongju National University, collaborating with labs in architectural engineering, new materials engineering, and computer engineering on projects such as the International Science Business Belt Functional District Support Project, and most recently, the National Research Foundation's Key Research Institute project, among various other endeavors.

Through these activities, we aim to help our members unleash their potential and contribute to solving society's pressing challenges.

안녕하세요. 국립공주대학교 스마트정보기술공학과 이동통신연구실에 오신 것을 환영합니다.

공주대학교 이동통신연구실은 이동통신과 관련되는 전파공학기술을 연구하는 연구실로 2003년 공주캠퍼스에서 시작되어 2009년 천안캠퍼스로 이전을 했습니다.

우리 연구실의 연구주제는 국방분야의 스텔스기술, 산업분야의 전자파 차폐기술 등을 연구하고 있으며, 최근에는 신소재를 이용한 전자파 차폐구조 연구, 건축물의 전자파 제어를 위한 기초기술 등을 관련분야 연구실과 협업하여 융합연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 2009년-2017년까지 국방피탐지감소기술특화연구센터, 2019년-2024년 항공기피탐지감소 특화연구실에 참여하고 있으며, 2010년 이후 한국연구재단 기초연구, 중견연구 등을 수행하고 있으며 2015년부터 공주대학교 스마트자연공간연구센터에 참여하여 건축공학, 신소재공학, 컴퓨터공학 연구실과 협업하여 국제과학비즈니스벨트 기능지구지원사업, 최근에는 한국연구재단 중점연구소 사업에 참여하고 있는 등 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있습 니다.

이러한 활동을 통해 구성원들의 잠재력을 발휘 할 수 있도록 돕고 사회의 당면한 과제들을 해결해 나가는데 일조하고자 합니다.
