Lake Petenwell is one of Wisconsin’s largest inland lakes, a reservoir on the Wisconsin River known for wide open water, scenic shorelines, abundant wildlife, and excellent recreational opportunities. 

Anglers and boaters are drawn to the lake for its fisheries (including walleye, bass, and musky), extensive public access, and seasonal boating, swimming, and birdwatching.
