Ponticello

Ponticello is Bay Area musicians Laura Boytz (cello) and Michael McMorrow (guitar and Portuguese guitarra). Inspired by the intoxicating rhythms of Latin America and the lush timbre of layered strings, they stir up a subtly passionate blend of Bossa Nova, Bolero, Samba, Choro, Jazz, and Pop, perfect music for a romantic dinner, wine tasting, or cocktail hour. Together and separately, they have performed at many top Bay Area venues and throughout the United States.
